Revisions XT is a free XTension courtesy of Markzware which has been extracted from the more advanced XTension XState™ as a means of advertising some of its features. A full working demo of XState™ is available upon request.
Revisions XT attaches a pop-up menu to File->Revert to Saved. This new menu will list a document's backups and you can open one of them by simply selecting it from the menu.
The Revision menu is formed by using all related documents having the prefix " #nnn" which are located either in the document's folder or in the designated backup folder for QuarkXPress 3.2 and above. Each file's last modified date will be conveniently appended to its name and the menu list will be sorted in date order. A "•" bullet character next to a file's name indicates the document is already active.
The first item on the menu "Revert to Saved" can be selected when available and used in the normal way.
